Rainwater Harvesting

It is becoming increasingly obvious to most governments around the world that the cost of providing a usable water source is increasing rapidly. Decaying infrastructure and
storm water system pollution is not only contaminating ecosystems but this valuable source of water is literally going down the drain.

Many people hesitate to install rain water harvesting systems or water tanks in their homes because they think that it is very expensive. It is a one-time investment which will pay for itself over a period of time.

Rainwater harvesting is the gathering or accumulating of rainwater. Systems range from simple to complex industrial solutions. Generally it is harvested from the roof or ground. The term may seem confusing but it really just means collecting rainwater and storing it for future use.

It can be used for household and garden use, for livestock, irrigation and groundwater recharge.
